Children's Ministry

Central Baptist Church recognizes the value of children and offers a ministry that allows them to grow into their faith by offering service-oriented education, age graded choirs, and fellowship activities.

Sunday School is provided for children of all ages at 9:45 AM. Children's choirs practice on Wednesday nights before they go to RAs (Royal Ambassadors), GAs (Girls in Action), and Mission Friends.

A Children's Committee, consisting of several interested parents, organizes annual activities such as

• Easter Egg Hunt in the spring
• Hayride in the fall
• Children's Christmas Shopping Trip for a disadvantaged family
• Trip to Callaway Gardens.

Summer activities for children include Vacation Bible School in June for preschool through fifth grade and "New Horizons Camp" for children third through fifth grade.

Nursery for infants and toddlers is provided during both worship services, and is staffed by both paid and volunteer caregivers.
